Parfum asli dari Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey sejak tahun 1992 sudah mendapatkan dua edisi absolute: Noir dari 2010 dan Emas dari 2011. L'Eau d'Issey Absolute baru diluncurkan pada Januari 2013 sebagai edisi terbatas untuk tahun itu. Aroma ini terinspirasi oleh cahaya amber yang dilemparkan oleh matahari saat matahari terbenam dan bunga melati yang mekar di malam hari. Komposisinya cerah dan intens, memadukan aroma bunga freesia dan lotus dengan aroma melati mekar malam ("Queen of the Night"), madu dari Provence dan tuberose sensual. Base notesnya beraroma vanili Bourbon dan hutan berharga. Parfum ini diciptakan oleh Olivier Cresp.
